Help me buy a wireless router etc.

Hey guys, i need help in getting a wireless router so i can share it through the whole house 2 PCs and 1 laptop. First of all i was looking at this

Netcomm N3G002W Wireless with USB & 3G Port, router. Would this be any good, the USB use will only be for the laptop only, once i have my comp in another room do i have to buy the same brand wireless card?

Any other recommendations for around that same price? Any answers will greatly be appreciated!

I'm a little confused with exactly what you need... The whole 3G port seems a bit excessive. I'm sure it's more expensive than say a basic Linksys WRT54G router which should do the job just fine.

And that router you mentioned had USB. I don't know if it's required, but I highly discourage the use of USB for things like Networking. USB can be so finicky at times, and actual network cards tend to work much more reliably.

As for wireless cards, as long as your standards match (B/G) you should be fine. I'd still hold off on N cards, though. The standard's still not set in, and you probably would need matching brands, at least to get the full performance out of the card.
