Help Me choose between Two Mobos

The Asus should be a better all around board.plus the intel only has 4 ram slots.no triple channel action?

I would choose Asus among those two.

However, I suggest you have a look at Foxconn Renaissance/ Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R

RAM: $70 is too expensive for 3 x 1GB, when 3 x 2GB is $90

What the hell is with that intel one at all, it looks so difficult to use. Why is it set out like it is .

The power cables for the mobo and for the processor would ahve to go over the CPU fan reducing the airflow, the Processor power slot is right next to where the video card would overhang so you would have wires all over your video card, your SATA ports are all on top rather than over the side making it harder to access them and the bottom ones would have the heatsink from your video cards if it is a long card over the SATA ports so it wouldn't be able to fit in, so it may aswell only be single channel graphics

+1 Another good board is the Foxconn Bloodrage/Bloodrage GTI also. Plus heck, you can get 6gb of 1600mhz memory over 3gigs of 1333mhz for only a little more:

Yeah the Asus Hands down. I've built with the Intel one and its a piece of...well you know. I cant understand how there is even a question over this. The P6T is a great X58 board! Only go the Intel if you're building a basic server or work PC, but even then...
