help me choose please

A laptop for gaming and entertainment with cable tv, im not sure how that works so some info would be appreciated. Price doesnt matter but I would prefer 4000$ max. I was reading alien ware reviews and some were prety bad so im not sure if I want one any more. I also want to know if their is any thing that I must have when i customize my laptop?

well alienware is the only place i know of that makes specialized gaming laptops, just remember who ever you buy from it's going to be obsolete before any desktop because usually the gfx cards aren't upgradable, i wouldn't recommend alienware tho, they tend to be nut roasters if you know what i mean.

You can check at www.ibuypower.com or at http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/Default.asp for gaming laptops. And for your cable tv I am not sure how you can put it on your computer. If anyone knows, I would like to know also.

Check Sony or Toshiba, they can set you up with a pretty good lappy for under $3500... Sony's site is being a little turd right now, so you can play around with the configurations, but can't order anything. Either laptop should be a very good and stable option.

Thanks! spec's on whats best iyo would help too. i think im going to get a desktop because people have told me i would be better off with one instead of a laptop. I wanted a laptop because I could take it everywhere with me and they dont use alot of space in my room like my huge computer desk.

while it's not a portable solution, i can recommend the VEG; a device that allows you to tune into tv with a laptop (i use the pc version) as well as link to other devices such as dvd players/vcrs, video games, etc via rca support.
