just a regular Point and shoot. something from canon or Nikon or Sony please

planning to buy at black Friday.

The Canon SD770 is pretty good... never used the SD790.

Agreed, one of the best Point an Shoot cameras on the market.
If not, look at the Kodak EasyShare or the Nikon P80

I have the S3 IS as well and I love it, it also has advanced features similar to a DSLR as well, great if you ever want to move up.
