It's about that time to leave for college and to get a new laptop. The following laptops were configured with i7-720QM processors. I haven't had any experience or ever heard of some of these brands before I looked up laptops with i7 processors on Google, so feel free to give me your two cents.

Free upgrade to Blue-ray ROM
9. The Touch Screen option seems pretty awesome, but how practical is it? I mean, it'd be cool to show off and all, but it doesn't seem like it'll be of any other use. The free upgrade to Blue-ray ROM was a pretty sweet deal, but I probably won't even use that anyway. Pretty good graphics card.

9. This got on the list because it was really cheap. Actually, I found this in a forum. I guess it's the cheapest alternative in the case that my parents absolutely do not agree with anything else on the list (even though I'm using my own money). Along with the cheap price, the laptop is lacking in pretty much all the categories. I hope I don't end up having to get stuck with this.

9. I had to choose between this and the X7-8500. The X7-8500's resolution is 1920 x 1080, compared to the X7-7700's 1680 x 1050. They had both had the same configuration, but the 8500 costed $200 more, so I decided to stick with the 7700. I'd also like to add that the graphics card is pretty damn good.

9. The 12-cell battery will definitely be useful, especially for the screen size of the laptop. The only thing I did not like about this was the RAM at 1066MHz. I would've much preferred it at 1333MHz for sure, but it's hard to complain since the 6GB was practically a free upgrade from the 4GB. The video card seems pretty decent.

9. This laptop was pretty straight-forward. The battery isn't too encouraging. I don't really know much about Sager computers.

9. I liked how the RAM came in 1 x 4GB, so I can simply add another 4GB at will for a much cheaper price. The free Blue-ray player was also a plus, but the battery life seems a bit short. The video card doesn't seems so great, either. Furthermore, I've heard mixed opinions and bad experiences about Sony's laptops.
Overall, the CyberPower, Toshiba, and Dell really catch my eye. CyberPower for its phenomenal graphics card, Toshiba for its screen size/battery, and Dell because it's good all around. That's just in my opinion, though. Let me know what you guys think. If you guys have any other suggestions for laptops, let me know. I also heard that Asus sells good laptops, but their website doesn't have the option to customize or buy them.
