help me decide on a monitor

well I'm kinda torn and feeling the stress of the short-time sales.

I'm looking at either a Samsung T240 for 300$ shipped or an Asus VW266H for 330$ shipped after rebate.

samsung - 24"
Asus - 25.5"

Both are 1920-1200 and both have hdmi

samsung price is only until midnight so I have to decide quick if that's what I want... any other ideas are also appreciated!

I would go for the samsung, but the asus is probably the better deal. So go for the asus.
 
I guess I'm more like you than someone that would take your advice, I went with the Samsung. Who would listen to you with that in your sig anyway! :P
 
monitor came today, quick question though:

it sounds kinda silly to me but is HDMI better than DVI? My video card came with a converter for DVI to hdmi, but I can't imagine it can get any better than DVI if it starts DVI right?

monitor looks beautiful btw, but the cd that came with it with the natural color and magic tune didn't work... I sent samsung an e-mail but we'll see if they get back to me about it or not. I've found that a lot of companies ignore e-mails
