Hello everyone, once again i seek your help :)

i use most of my time playing arma 3, but i can only run the game on mixed settings between low and medium, or else i will experience too much lagg.

my specs: (if you need anything else please just say so :) i will find it as fast as possible)

GPU: GeForce GTX 780
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 16.00 GM RAM
Resolution: 1920 x 1080, 144Hz
OS: Windows 8.1

I love to play games but i have no clue what the specs means, i just took this from the NVIDIA Experience panel, so when you write an answer keep in mind that every short term you use i will have no clue what it means :)

Hope you can help me and I thank you in advance :)

thats what i tought, but all is up to date, but still cant run it better

Have you tried other games? Arma is a pretty demanding game for any system. If its anything like Arma 2, you will need more than top of the line hardware to max it out.

i dont really have any problems in other games, as long as i keep out of the arma series and all its mods im fine, but since im aiming for arma that wont happen :)
so thats why i need help with what parts to upgrade

Honestly....you would probably need to invest another $1,000 into your machine if you really want to run Arma 3 maxed out without a problem. Even then, theres no guarantee.

Exactly what settings are you trying to play it at? If I remember correctly, Arma 2 had millions of settings.

Try lowering the settings. Honestly I'm surprised You can't run it. Your machine is pretty damn good. If you really want to throw money at it, a GTX 980 or 970 are good bets

He didnt say he couldnt run it, just that he could only run it at low-medium settings. Which isnt all too surprising for a game like Arma. Without knowing exactly what settings hes using though, i cant say if its performing on par or not.

my current setting gives me: 90fps in the menu, 50-80fps ingame when im standing still without any movements around me (depends on the area's size) and when there is something moving or exploding its 10-30
this is just a normal game where there only are around 10-15 players on the server, if i join a server with +40 the fps will go even more crazy.
im linking two images so you can see my game settings

Try turning the visibility all the way down and everything else up and see what happens. When you have visibility up, at least in Arma 2, it will draw the entire map haha.

does not help... but now i dont go under 30fps, but still hard in gun fights or other parts where i need to react fast

Just one of those games. I cant run Arma 2 that great on my machine, and my hardware would be top of the line for when that game came out. I manage in the 20s with everything turned up on that one.
