Help me find a better labtop

i'm trying to buy a new labtop my budget is around $1000 i found these two labtops after searching for a hour

should i just buy one of these 2 labtop or do u guys have anything better than these two

Well considering the only difference there is the 120GB drive and apparently longer battery life, I'd have to say the 2nd. But don't expect either to play games all to well.

Based on the 2 link that you have posted, is a Sony notebook and are you aware that the price is in US Dollars ad not SG Dollars.
I dont think Sony will go as low as $1000 SG Dollars, and this is a Core Duo processor.
