Help me get a good video card pls.

I want to get a new video card a nvidia 8800 GT so i can play WoW at highest quality and performance. I want to know if my computer can take it here are the specs.

Operating System: - Microsoft Windows XP Professional
System- Dell Dimension E510
Bus Type is PCIe
2gigs of ram
Directx9.0

idk if there is anything else needed besides that to let you know whether or not i can use the card but please help me
 
an 8800GT would deffintly work with that computer. Just make sure its PCIex16, not x1. And make sure to have atleast a 500W PSU, that is my recomondation. You could go with 450, maybe even less as I have heard, but for that you need a high quality
 
thanks. so i'll probably get it cuz im just trying to run WoW on highest settings nothing major special so if you said it's good for at least WoW then thanks
 
Yeah I run a 8800GT and even at 1440x900 it hardly uses about 50% of my 8800GT even with 24x24 and 8 AA.

I get 60 FPS for raids/outside but for some reason even with low settings enabled I jump between 40 and 50 FPS in towns like Dalaran. I think its a bug with the engine though since I double the system specs.
