Every time I start my computer, I get this message:

Error loading C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll

The directory does not exist on my computer, and I don't know what is looking for this file!

Also when I shut down my computer, I get an error saying the NVIDIA twin view thing won't shut down, and it has to be shut down manually.

Any suggestions how I can remove these two issues?

cdaEngine0400.dll is a module of the WildTangent advertising spyware.I believe you can turn that msg box off on msconfig.

Start> Run> typy 'msconfig'> Click Ok> Click 'Startup' tab> Locate Startup item 'cdaEngine0400'> Deselect it> Ok> Restart> Tell me how it goes :D

wild tangent is lagit in some instances just like backweb. HP uses wildtangent and Compaq uses backweb, both of which are detected by spyware removers.

first off twin view is ware you video card is set to display video from multiple out puts for instance if twin view is enabled you can connect the monitor out to a monitor and the s-video out to a TV and view the picture on both at the same time, if you don't actually use the twin view feature you should probably disable it, BTW I've used it before and had the same problem has you.

Thanks for the tips guys. I got the first error message to go away, but I'm still trying to disable twin view. I can get to it under properties, but the screen where it says "enable window spanning across monitors" - I can't access the checkbox which would disable it as it is all grey. How do I disable this thing?
