Help me get X-COM running on XP

I've been trying to get X-COM to run for my Dad for a while and have not had any luck. If you have experience or knowledge in getting old games to run in XP,
respond, please.

Try compatibility mode. Right click the icon, properties, and then the compatibility tab. Set it to run as if under Windows95.

If that doesn't work try downloading an emulator like DOSbox. Run it in that.
