So here we go, I have two laptops on my list and I just can't decide on which to go with, because both have pro's and con's.
I will mostly use it to browse the web and watch movies on the go, I am not sure if I will play any games on it but if I will then it will definately be BF2 (which wont run on HP), so that is where I am really stuck on. I like how HP looks but I'd rather go with Dell but I've heard good and bad about Dell and actually owned a Dell Laptop and had problems with the charging port on it. HELP
1)
HP Pavilion DV2432NR
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core TK-53
14.1"
2GB RAM
120GB HDD
NVidia GeForce Go6150
Vista Premium
$549 after TAX
Pro's: Vista Premium
lol, lighter, can have by end of today CompUSA
BF sale, I think HP is more reliable but not sure.
Con's: AMD CPU (power usage, runs hotter), integrated graphics with no memory, faster HDD.
2)
Dell Vostro 1400
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5270
14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife
2GB RAM
128MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400M GS
Bluetooth
Vista Home
$699 after TAX
Pro's: Intel CPU, Good video card, Bluetooth, more sturdy.
Con's: Heavier, runs hot when really using because of crazy power/video card, worse battery life, not sure if Dell is any good, costs more and takes longer to get it.
PS: Please help me decide which one to get. Thank you
