Well, M$ tells me that the first stop error is a RAM issue. It's either faulty, or non-compatible with it's current settings. Did you just purchase the RAM, or has it been working for a while now? If it's never had problems before, I would think to disregard this error for now.
Did similiar problems cause you to reformat? If everything on your computer is randomly getting corrupted after you poer down or reboot, i'd think it's a harddrive problem.
1. Open My Computer, and then select the local disk you want to check.
2. On the File menu, click Properties.
3. On the Tools tab, under Error-checking, click Check Now.
4. Under Check disk options, select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box.
This will scan your rharrdrive for corrupt material that is essential to your OS.
If Scan Disk discovers a lost chain it will bring up a new window on your screen. Follow the instructions it gives you.
Choose the repair option. However, when you get the "Save Option," you may as well choose "Delete". If you choose to "Save," Scan Disk will save the file with a ".chk" extension in the root directory, "C:\".
However, you cannot open it, or use it. The lost cluster/chain that was saved are pieces of lost data and the majority of the time the saved lost data is not usable.
Hopefully that will solve any problems with your harddrive. If it ends up finding nothing, then I'd assume your harddrive is not the problem and we've isolated that possibility. We might go back to the RAM issue and try to see if it is indeed "bad" or not.
EDIT: i'm at school now, and when class is over i won't have access to a computer until i get home tonight/tomorrow. hopefully if you need any more help someone will be kind enough to jump in here
