Ok so before I buy an ASUS machine I need to know the history of the company like do they have a reputation for good machines whats their support like etc.... please help me out I don't wanna buy a computer and have it be shit...I need it to last 5 years enlighten me : )

Asus builds excellent desktop products, especially desktop motherboards. I've heard that their laptops are of decent quality, however I can't say personally since I have never owned one, nor have I heard any comments from people either way, which could be a good sign. I've just read some reviews and comments posted on Newegg and other computer retailers websites.

I have heard that asus makes great laptops. On newegg.com, they not only have great reviews, but they are some of the best prices computers there. They also usually have good graphics cards for laptop gaming.

I'm looking at building an alien ware laptop as well my price is at 1726 I think thats quite good for whats on it Ima post the specs on it and will someone check it over and let me know if it will work for me through college

AMD, not good really.

Also anyone how good CyberPower notebooks are?
