Help me... Motherboard will work fine with my graphics card of choice?

Hello to everybody here. I'm new to the world of constructing computers, and I need help.

I'm trying to build myself a computer currently.

Before I order the parts, I want to make sure everything will work 100%.

I've got a gigabyte K8NF9 Ultra motherboard, with supports my 533Mhz 1G RAM. I want an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.2Ghz processor. I can have a 420W or 480W PSU, whichever u guys reccomend, and I fancy a reasonable graphics card, but I dont have the money to get SLI or Crossfire. I think all these things will work together, but does anyone know, will an NVIDIA 7600GT chipset qualify as nForce 4 Ultra, which my motherboard requires, and whether an SLI-ready card will run single in a motherboard which is not SLI ready?

Please help me... I've spent days searching the web and I think I'm nearly there now :).

Edit: I almost forgot... will my processor work with the 7600GT?

I think that you are a little confused here, and I am not quite sure what you are saying. But let me state that any video card will work in any motherboard (with the correct interface) with the sole exception that you cannot use 2 ATI cards in a SLI motherboard.

Any processor will work with any video card

Thanks... I think I was a little confused :D.

Seems I don't have to worry then... I'll see what happens when I put it all together when it arrives.

Nforce4 is a chipset on a motherboard which has nothing to do what what video card ti can take, just to help be a little more clear if it does help at all.

And a "SLI ready" card will work fine in a single card machine.

The thing that you have to be careful with as far as compatability with the motherboard and vid card is whenther the mobo is AGP or PCI-Expressx16. In doing some research, I believe that motherboard has a PCI-E interface. Just make sure that the card you buy has that type of interface as well. :)
