Help me not screw up my RAM upgrade!

You all seem like a knowledgeable bunch so here it goes:

I'm looking to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 2 GB. My system specs are as follows (from memoryx.com's system check):

Computer Make: HP Pavilion 061
Computer Model: PX191AV-ABA d4100e
Computer Version: 0p]1211CT101AMBER00
Motherboard Model: Amberine
Motherboard Version: 1.03
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.2Ghz
Installed Memory: 4 slots: 512 MB, 512 MB, empty, empty
Matched - Machine: Pavilion D4100e (CTO)
Matched - Model: http://www.memoryx.net/hepapad4cme2.html
ECC: No

Would the Kingston RAM in the above link suit my system? I'm afraid of buying RAM and then having it not be compatible with my motherboard. I know RAM works better in pairs so I'll be ordering two sticks of 512, thus totaling four sticks of 512 RAM in my motherboard.

I want the upgrade because I'd like to see an increase in gaming performance, specifically in Supreme Commander which starts to delay my commands by a few seconds once the unit count gets high up there, and as anyone who play the game knows, that's quite often. My video card is a Radeon X1600 w/ 256MB memory.

i suggest you study a little your motherboard or even ask the producer or the HP forums. As for RAM,in general, i always choose OCZ, they are very stable, good and can be OCed if you wanna :) not that cheap tho.

If that is the right model for your PC, then you are looking for PC3200 RAM. If you are planning to add the RAM to what you already have look for value RAM as it will be run at the same timings as the RAM you already have and I'm pretty sure that HP didn't use CAS2 RAM or anything :P What ever timings you get will be fine as it will automatically run at whichever is slower but it's silly to pay more for something you can't use.
