Help me OC my system

Okay, so whatever I did, or magic that just happened, but I installed teh Z77 Extreme 4 and it booted and is running. But I am horrid at this UEFI stuff. So I will tell you what I have done in the hopes that you can tell me what some of this is and how to use it.

Okay, does what has been done look good? And what should I set voltage to? Doesn't auto usually give it far too much?

i'd bump the voltage up a bit from the auto for a 4GHz OC, i think its overclock setting thing with pre-configured profiles should do fine and be optimized for the best performance and all if you want to try it.

How far?
the only thing I really know about voltage is 1.5 on RAM and that you should bever exceed 1.5 on processor.

Edit that. Fixed mode has it at 1.100 as the default. I have it at 1.155 now. Should that be good?

should be plenty, i'd stress test it and if it doesn't BSOD or overheat then you're fine, you could even try lowering by the smallest amount it lets you and trying again.

If you aren't, us intel burn test, it'll get it the hottest and make sure you're never going to overheat.

Ill see what I get. Im going to see how it can do with the vista install already installed on the hard drive. The 7 that was on there booted fine on the H61, not sure if it will go the other way though.

Anyway, putting hard drive in and reporting back in a bit. How long will the stress test need to run?

set it for 2 passes on very high or maximum, should take a few minutes, nowhere near as long as prime and allot better too.

Will do. Got to reinstall though. But thank goodness for retail windows. Should be up and running in ~45 minutes.

okay, got a BSOD about 30% through install. Upped the volts to 1.250V and trying again. So far it is going good and faster than before.
