Hi, i have an really old computer that i use as a back up and i need to upgrade its ram. i was told i need a pc 133 dimm but not sure exactly where to purchase it or which one to purchase. my motherboard is a evga cuv4x. if someone knowledgable with old computers could post up a link where i can purchase a 256 or 512 mb ram it would be greatly appricated ;) :D

Ok well I believe you have an asus mobo no evga since google didn't come up with that mobo as being evga but as asus. But here is a bunch of pc-133 ram, take your pick. For an older computer the brand won't make much of a difference but kingston, crucial, ocz are some of the better brands.

I bought a pair of 1gb Kingston Value Ram at a pc fair for $110-! I don't expect to see that price higher at newegg rather the opposite. For super performance dimms by OCZ or Corsair then the price will go up somewhat. For PC133 memory the price will be high but not available in 1gb. NADA! It wasn't until DDR dual sided dimms came out that you started seeing 1gb dimms.

Wow nothing like calling someone a liar. Look at my link and use the search to find the 1gb sticks.
Here is your link

They're both out of stock. Does that count as them being available? Just curious.

Never said they were available, just said they had them. Anyway most mobo's probably wouldn't support them.
