help me optimize....

i recently upgraded a few components, an e6850 at 3.0mhz, a p5n32-e sli, 4gb crucial tracer ddr2-1066, and a xfx 7900gs. a few questions though. I am running everything stock for now, so my cpu and mobo support 1333 fsb, so is that the max speed ? i am at 333x9, so would it be better to change to 1066x3 or similar? should i link ram and cpu speeds? if so how? would i be better with another 7900 gs in SLI or a single 8800 gts 640? i am not a gamer (i have shadowrun, halo 2, company of hereos and a few others, but get bored quickly with games)and wanted to know if SLI has any advantages other than gaming? any ideas are welcome...

If you're not a gamer then SLi is a bit counter-productive as there are more power demands and the heat is, well, a lot. You can also only run 1 monitor in SLi.

3mhz is a little on the slow side...

try to get the fsb and ram to 1:1 ratio

if you're going to be running stock you dont really need to change much

try undervolting and see if you can do that to lower the temps. :D

1:1

how would i go about about getting the ram and cpu on a 1:1 ratio? i am running ddr2-1066, so it is running at 533 mhz, so i want the fsb at 533 and the multiplier at, say, 6 or 7? right? or is there an option in the bios to link these? Asus has an overclocking/optimizing program which boots at startup and it says my fsb is 1333.31 and it also says "CPU Utilization is 333.33x9, which is it?
