HI, [i posted this in video card section as well, i think its either the mobo or the vid, sorry if it annoys you about the double post]

OK, computer is in the sig.
this is my problem:

when i turn my computer on, after around 5 minutes, the display goes all wacky, its like it has lines on it (lots of them) and then wired charecters show up on screen.

Its not drivers, cause this happens when im in DOS/ bios/ installation of windows. really anytime after 5 minutes.

I took out the card, cleaned the fan on it.. and put it back in. no luck, it was good for like 20 minutes and then it went back to SH&T.

Also when i try to install winxp, it copies all the files needed for the first part, and when i reboot , it says:

"disk read error
press alt+ ctrl+ delete to reboot. "

so right now im thinking either motherboard or PSU or my video :(... any help would be nice, cause im going crazy... trying to figure out wtf happend?

thank you ever so much for the kind reply. Now if only this post helped me get my computer back up ... oh wait... it didn't work... any other ideas?

as i said i am sorry, however it does relate to both threads.. and again.. please understand my pain... im going through withdrawl.. :(

yeah ram is good.. i took every thing apart and put it back together... now i can install.. first art good.. second part 0x19 bsod :'(

if i enable sound, or USB [both on motherboard], I wont even get that far, when it boots from cd it just gives me the 0x19 badpool...error thing..

any suggestions before i start threwing money at it?

Well the disc read error is a hard drive error.. I think i recall something about these being fatal.. And about the lines running acrossed your screen? Happened to me when my vid card died.. sucks don't it?

well my vid has warranty on it.. not a biggy.. but it doesn't do that anymore.. after i cleaned everything... however, as i have said, the mobo is giving me issues when i enable sound or USB... I got a friend to check out my hard-drive, its fine, no issues on his computer... more and more im thinking mobo ...

IM going to buy a new mobo, however for some reason i can't find in store any a8nsli32DELUX... Which is annoying... so any suggestions? on a new mobo??
