I don't know a whole lot about the technicalities of building a computer, so, I was wondering if anyone here could help me out a bit.
The only things I really do on a computer are text-based, and play WoW. I would like a PC that plays WoW well, at least 40 FPS with full graphics. I don't need anything super high end at all. I'm looking for the cheapest possible solution, but browsing about on www.newegg.com leaves me with the impression that everything is massively expensive.
Right now, I've a Dell with some RAM stuck into it, and a Raedeon something-or-other graphics card I got at Staples a couple of years ago for about $150. (It's 2,000 mi. away right now; otherwise I'd be more than glad to give a name / specs.)
What compilation of parts would give me a computer that would play WoW decently? I know I can take the power-supply from the Dell, the RAM, and some other things, but I'm most likely going to need to buy more parts. (I was also wondering if it'd be possible to rip the OS from the Dell to a new computer, so I wouldn't have to pay for a new XP).
