Hi all,

right i need some serius help with Overclocking my system.

ive had it before clocked at 2.73Ghz and the memory which was 667Mhz at 772Mhz,it was Prime95 stable with the settings i had it at then,however.......

Now ive just purchased some new ram (OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2)and defaulted all my clocks back to start fresh however i can still not go over 2.8Ghz it just fails within 1 minuite.

these are my settings in the bios
Adjusted CPU FSB Frequency [400]
Adjusted Cpu Ratio [7]
Adjusted Cpu Frequency [2800] Mhz

......................................................................................

FSB/Memory Ratio [1:1.00]
Adjusted DDR Mem Frequency [800]

.......................................................................................

Cpu Voltage [1.3750v]
Memory Voltage [2.00v]
Northbridge Voltage [1.375v]
Southbridge [Auto]

what am i doing wrong? i sometimes got bluescreens when booting up aswell :D

dunno if it has to do with memory timings or soething? surely i can hit 3Ghz?

these screenshots are default system speeds.

ive increased to 2.2V,still no luck :(

it just does not want to overclock

are your sticks of ram (other than size) identical?
also, your timings on your ram could easily go to like 5-5-5-18 @ like 2.1v..
and what's the default voltage for your cpu? have you upped it yet. usually if i overclock, and it boots and all, but fails later, i just bump up the voltage and then see if that stabilizes it.
