Arhh my hdd just failed (yeah just my luck) and its been 7days past neweggs RMA policy (yep my luck again). Seagate is sending another one, now what do i do about activating windows since i have already used it on the bad drive??

Oh, ok thanks! makes be feel better now, but now im without my month old computer for a few days and everything on the drive is lost :mad:
 
I just did mine with a new board and processor, didnt make me call or anything, kinda odd. But it was just the second time on the CD. Get a W/D drive:D

thats what i was going to do when the replacement gets here but the serial number is on the drive and not on the circuit board so... to them i would be sending the new drive back lol..
