I am excited. I found a computer down by the dumpster area of my apartments. It's a HP 3130 pro. It has a keyboard the tower and the monitor. There are some cords..can someone help me get it all plugged in and earning? I don't know what plugs to what. Thanks in advance!! Linda

Cables only go one way. USB's are all the same. Use your childhood skills.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up, why do you think it was left in the dumpster area? Most likely something is broken. I’m not sure anyone here is inclined to teach you to put together a computer that will turn out to be broken. Look on it as a self learning experience, look at some YouTube videos on assembly and troubleshooting Try to figure it out yourself. If you look on this forum there are already some stickies about computer assembly and troubleshooting.
