HP Intel core 2 Quad processor Q 6600
8GB
ATI Radeon HD 3650 Graphics card

This is the HP Pavilion Elite m9426f desktop PC that supports up to 8 audio channels and runs on Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition.

Some other features include an Intel Core 2 Quad processor with a speed of 2.4GHz, a 640GB SATA hard drive and 8GB of DDR2 RAM.

this is what i have at the moment but i put a new 450 Watt power supply

what could i improve for around 250 $ into it its my gaming computer

btw will some one tell me about my processor is it an ok one ?

thanks sry kinda noob in computers

to tell the truth its kind of sh*t, D ,no offense meant.
noo i joke, its ok except the GPU - the graphics, so if you have that much to invest, i would suggest a good graphics card, or at least a better one. like say 5650 which is very good, thats the one i have on my laptop, but on desktop its even better. do not recommend for noobs, D, but you could try overclocking you CPU. to lets say 3.0 GHz, but you will have to probably buy a better "fan" (CPU cooler) as for the Power supply it should be enough. you processor is ok i guess. whats your ram running at, do you know?? it could be 8GB of like 200mhz, you know, if they are above 1000Mhz, then its oki guess. if not try to improve that too.

your comp is not that bad at all. As for your processor, what is it clocked at? right click my computer or something like that, don't know vista, I has mac!

A Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor is a decent processor even if it is only running at a stock speed. I don't think it would be a bad idea to keep it for a gaming system.

What type of 450 Watt Power supply did you buy?
