Dang, that'll be a sweet rig, I wish I had that kind of money. Anyways, Looks good to me, I'm not sure if you can take the price down any, especially if you're going to be adding another GTX.

Looks good. The 1KW PSU is totally unnecessary, though, I'd go with a Silverstone ST75ZF, or ST85ZF if you really want to. Either will handle SLI'd 8800GTXs without any issues whatsoever. If you really do want a 1KW PSU, there are much better models than that Epower.

just curoius, on some pre built websites, its required to have 1k watt power supply to go with the dual gtx 8800 video card. so i assumed i'd go with 1k watt incase i want to add another gtx card..

1000 watt power supply is ridiculously over kill. That corsair kit probably isn't worth the money over an OCZ kit for $100 less. I wouldn't go with vista for gaming but thats your choice. Also the hard drive says serial ata 150...wtf? I'd go with a sata 300 drive and you probably won't see a huge benefit with the 10k rpm drive for the money you are paying for it...not with games at least. More expensive doesn't always mean better. Also dual 8800gtx's would be extreme, extreme overkill. One would be find and you can wait a few months for the price to drop before adding another one but its up to you.

ya i will wait untill all bugs r fixed

there arent any bugs! everyone says that but there arent!

vista is new and therefore it doesnt have all the recent drivers, not bugs.

and everything else has no bugs

That's absolutely ridiculous. I've seen 3 GTXs in a system run off a Corsair HX620W, and a multiprocessor system (2 dual core CPUs and SLI'd G80s) run off a Seasonic 700W.

nVidia have officially certified the Silverstone ST75ZF and other 750W power supplies to handle dual GTXs, it's more than capable of doing so.

you don't call software not performing the way its intended to a bug? if someone completly computer illiterate that has been using xp gets a new computer that has vista and alot of stuff doesn't work what are you supposed to tell them? Oh its a feature that half of your programs don't work and your audio and video drivers are crap as well.
