Ok....i've looked all over the internet and I can't figure out what is going on..perhaps someone could give me some suggestions.
I recently noticed that my cpu fan was getting noisy so I checked the bios to make sure that my CPU temp wasnt getting crazy...to my disapointment it was at a whopping 70C. Now from the information i know, that is not a good thing...especally considering it is that high during the computers idol.
I have a 3.4 ghz prescott processor, which is notorious from what ive gathered to overheat but not this much.
I have checked the heatsink to make sure its on right and have more than good venting.....can someone tell me if im gonna kill my cpu and what the heck is causing this
