Hello, I have the HP laptop for awhile now and I believe the motherboard went on it. I was wondering if someone can help me figure out the best options. Should I replace it with the same motherboard or is there a newer motherboard for this type of laptop that I can upgrade too?

Is it hard to replace HP motherboards?
Where is the best spot to upgrade this any good spots to buy?

There are issues with the dv6 series laptops. You would have to go to HP to get the motherboard replaced. Your best bet would be to get a new laptop.
 
Yes I was thinking of maybe getting a new laptop. Do I need to go directly to HP to get a new motherboard or could I upgrade to a different board and would make my laptop new again.
 
HP will be the only company that has the motherboards for that laptop. You won't be able to put an upgraded motherboard in there unless they offered different configurations for that model.
