Long time no posting :)

I've had no problems with my recent computer setup, until it completely froze.
I held the power button on the front of my computer down till it shut off.
When I tried to turn it back on the monitor would stay in "sleep mode" (monitor wouldnt display anything from my computer)

I've tried:
Resetting the CMOS
Pulling out my graphics card and putting it back in
I cleaned out the inside of my computer a little bit and refreshed my thermal paste for my processor

I upgraded my mobo, video card, ram, hard drive and processor in Summer '08 (in sig) and had the same PSU since May '06 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148008)

Is there anything else I should try before assuming I need to buy a new part?
I also am pretty sure it's not the monitor

You will have to try a different video card. If you can't even see the post then assume the card is bad. Also try reseating your ram.
