I have a sony ericsson, with a 2 gig Micro M2 card for data storage. It mounts fine on my vista desktop, but in Ubuntu I cant mount it, instead it detects it as a wireless network or something of that sort. Does anybody know how I can get my OS to detect this drive, thanks.

Check out the tutorial in my signature and see if you can get ubuntu to recognize that its a data storage device.

my phone model is the sony ericsson w350a.

If i plug it in nothing happens, i even tried from the live cd.

Neither sudo fdisk -l, or gparted detects the drive.

Is it possible that only micro sd cards are recognized, and not micro m2, or that the phone is too new and is not compatible yet?

Thanks for any information about this.
