Hello everyone, when i have a serious problem you guys on forums ALWAYS know how to fix it, so heres my new problem:
I have recently installed 512MB of NANYA RAM today on my Jetway V266 motherboard, which is running XP SP2.
My computer worked the first and second times, then i restarted my computer and it wouldnt work, and it still doesnt...
Heres what happens:
I turn my computer on and i get through bios, and all that stuff, then sometimes it doesnt get to log-on prompt or sometimes i do get to the log-on prompt and get past it. My computer either restarts before the log-on prompt or just after ive logged on!!!
One time it mentioned dwwin in an error message before restarting, does this have anything to do with it? I cant remember what doctor watson does!
Does the ram have anything to do with it, or is it a coincidence?
Ive got into safe mode everytime but it restarts after a few seconds of being logged on...
My motherboard is compatible with the ram...
The ram is tested and working on other computers...
Is it a re-install windows job? - I only did this 2 weeks ago because of stupid spyware and crap like that!
So, please can you help?
