I was fiddling around w/ my desktop, and i successfuly overclocked it to 2.85 ghz, and i was just messing around, but i put the timing from 2t to 1t on my ram, and now it won't turn on, im so mad at my self for not stopping........:mad::mad:

There is no beep at the boot up HELP

did you try resetting CMOS?

the RAM couldve gone bad, but im pretty sure if that was the case it would at least beep...

dont be hard on yourself dude, we all do it at some point. thats the deal with computers, learn by trial and error.

aww okk, umm how exactly do i reset the cemos, such a nob question, but i havent a clue. :)

Hi, i figured it out, it was pretty simple, i still think i might overclock it again, but i won;t change the ram settings next time. :)

changing your timings is fine.
You changed your command rate, that is a nono :)
Do a little research on RAM timings and have fun getting them as low as possible if you have a board that allows it.
