Help!!!! My dad challanged me

well done, now you have got that far, what you need to do is....... save up for another 100 bucks and then say that your doing the custom build, your dad only has to pay for the amount that a dell would have cost and then you can add the 100 to it and get better components.
 
 
i got my emachine for 200dollar with monitor speakers keyboard and mouse. And it was a decent computer. You just gotta know where to look ;)

is that after all the rebates or before the rebates?
 
shhh!!! dont tell him you can get special rebates well its after their so called "exculsive" like 20 percent off which then makes that comp 300 dollars if thats what u mean. Well anyway i forgot a modem which cost around like 6 bucks My dad said he didnt care about a printer so i was able to take that out and show him i could get 512 mb of ram. I saved a bunch of money if you think about it cause everything from newegg is a brand name therefore in general it is better and usualy the mobos you get from companys like dell or even sony are horrible.
