Help, My DISK DRIVE Is Broken!

Hi, I am the owner of an acer Z5600 (All-In-One Touchscreen) and I have come across a problem where my CD is stuck inside the ODD drive. I have tried the majority of techniques apart from opening the computer and retrieving the disk drive itself. I have heard about the tiny hole that can eject the CD however, this is not visible on the outside due to the CD being ejected on its own not with a tray.

Is it possible to retrieve this without opening up the computer, and if not what safety precautions should I take (If its possible to do this myself).

Thanks in Advance,

Yeah, Tried that but didn't work, It makes the sounds that its coming out but then the disk doesn't actually come out so the CD itself is jammed inside rather than the ODD not working. Thanks Anyway!

I see what you are saying above but the only way to open a jammed CD is from the tiny hole in the front. I have the same problem and that's how i open my cd every time. The tiny hole should be somewhere next to the eject button on the CD drive.

if it is a slot loading cd drive, then it wont have a hole. What the hole does is release the drive tray mechanism, causing the try to open. It wont do this if there is no tray release, like in a slot loader.

I see. I didnt know there is a drive with no hole. Thanks for explaining that. :)
