Help my "Open With..." is not working!

Hello,
I have XP and I downloaded some old atari games and an emulator in order play them. When I clicked a game it asked me what program I wanted to open it with. I chose the atari emulator and it was working perfectly. Then today I moved my emulator and games into a new folder to keep them organized and now when I try to open a game it asks me what program I want to open it with. When I browse for the emulator and select it, it is not added to the list. I can still open the emulator and load the game from there but it is much easier to be able to just click on it. How do I get it back to the way it was? I also tried deleting and downloading another emulator but that didn't work.

you're meant to open them once the emulator is running, from a menu in the emulator... ive never seen one that works any other way
 
no it was working before, I just double-clicked on the game and all day yesterday it was automatically openning in the emulator. I just downloaded a different atari emulator to see if that would work and sure enough it did but i liked the first emulator better.
