help my sound isnt working

i could use some help. after i let my girlfriend use my computer she did something so all my sound is now gone ive tried everything in my knowlegde that could work but nothing did.. help mee :(
 
Well what was too you knowledge,
have you turned the volume up on the volume control? double click the speaker icon in the systray (corner near the clock) and check all the lines are turned up
