Help needed with 'Network Controller'!

Hi everyone,

First of all I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1525, with Windows Vista Basic 32-bit.
Yesterday I reinstalled Windows using the Dell OS disc that came with the laptop after problems prior to that. Everything was fine expect my wireless connection, which worked perfectly before hand.

I think it's something to do with the driver as in Device Management, "network controller" comes under "other devices" with a yellow ! sign next to it.

I've tried installing the drivers from the Dell Driver & Utillities disc, and from the Dell website but nothing seems to happen. In all honesty I'm not even sure what driver I need. Apparently I'm using is a Broadcom 802.11g Network Adaptor accoring to a driver scanner I used, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't really know what to do now, I've been trying to fix it all day and it's driving me nuts! I would really appreciate any help you can give me to sort this out, Thanks!

Nevermind, I just fixed it! woohoo :D

For anybody else who has this problem this is what I did :

I typed "CMD" into Run on start. This should open command prompt. Then type in "wmic bios get serialnumber". Under what says "serial Number" is your Service Tag. Use that service tag on your support website, and download the driver that shows up. That should be the specific driver as it was for me!
