help needed

I recently bought a samsung 26"lcd and hooked my pc up to it (VGA), to begin with the picture was perfect but when i turned on my screen yesterday i,ve noticed that the clarity isn't the same. It's hard to explain but the sharpness of the image has changed, this is particularly obvious with text and fonts, the colour is also less bright. I 've checked all the obvious settings (p.c and t.v) and nothing seems to have changed, the quality is still acceptable, but it's annoying to know it could be better. Has anyone else had any similar problems???

Any suggestions would be mucho appreciated!
 
Maybe you have open the video set that usually been used for lcd...
but..sorry, my system is not english...I..don't know how to tell you the way...

I have the same problem: I just bought a new 22" ACER LCD monitor:

The image or text on the new monitor is very blurry, no way to compare to my 7-year old 15" Viewsonic LCD monitor.
Someone recommends me to buy a new video card. I am not sure if it will fix the problem, I do not know which video card is good with the computer.
Any idea to help would be greatly appreciated.
