HELP: Network Driver not working.

Hey, I recently installed a copy of windows XP proffesional on my freinds Dell Inspiron E1505. He did not have the CDs that came with it since he bought the laptop used and there were non available.

Everything work fine on the laptop but the internet or network will not work at all. On the network connections screen it shows 1394 connection being active but when you plug in a network cable nothing happens. What can i do to fix this?

Right click My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager.
If you have "?" mark there or something right click on the device > Update driver and follow the wizard.

Network controller
PCI device
PCI device
SM bus controller
Video Controller
Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
 
It searches but can not find any of the drivers. Which driver could I transfer to the laptop via flash drive so I can at least get on the internet to download the other drivers?
 
I downloaded the wirless driver. And then the LAN driver. So im on the laptop now with NET. Im doing all the drivers right now. Thanks for getting me on the right track.:D
 
Just for future reference if its a dell it has a service tag all you have to do is serch by the service tag on the support site and you will get only the drivers for that system..
