Help, New Antec Earthwatts 380 watt

Hi,

I JUST installed my new Antec Earthwatts 380 watt power supply...

As soon as I turned it on, It's a lot quieter... but also, all the fans are spinning slower and the LED's on them aren't as bright... I don't know about temps, I haven't been on long enough yet...

but is this a problem or is it Ok?

suprised nobodys replied yet mate....I would love to help you but i have no clue whats up:confused:

You say fans are slower and lights are duller...maybe your systems not getting enough juice or maybe the Psu is faulty?:confused:

Just a guess.

I fixed it!

I had it daisy chained too much!

Off one molex connector, I had, the on/off button, fan, fan and another fan :P

I then discovered another 4 pin molex connector that I had tucked away before and now I have:

off one of them on/off button and fan

and the other fan and fan.

And the temps have come down and my restarting problem seems to have stopped, So all A-Ok! :D:D

However, my cable managment has gone downhill :P :cool:

The round IDE cables I got did help a bit though :)

aah excellent news mate...lookin good and the cable management doesnt look that bad ....seriusly you want to see a mess come and look inside my case :D

Haha, sorry I never really came across the post ^^; Yeah, there is a limit to how much current can be carried :P I know the fan controller portion of my PSU has a written limit on the connector. I think 4 fans...

Ive cable tied a few of the wires...but basicly its still a mess lol.

But they are away from my fans and my temps are good so im not bothred:D

Yeah, if it doesn't stop anything or bother you there's no point fixing it.
