ok i was turning programs that i dont need off in task manager, things like firefox, itunes (i hate itunes anyways i should delete it) things like that when my little overactive mouse decided to jump one space down as i clicked, and me none the wiser turned that program off. it turned out to have something to do with realtek AC'97 and 'multi-channel sound manager'
nothing happens when i click the latter, and i reinstalled AC'97, seemed to work for a minute (the little speaker at the bottom corner was back
but when i clicked on it it said that there was no mixer, and told me to go to add new hardware, then closed itself...
so anyone have some answers for me?
