help nvidia driver wont fully install

:( i tried download the geforce tnt nvidia driver and i fully downloaded it and when i try to install it shows the screen with it installing but it stops at the end and doesnt finish installing full im trying to update my driver but it dont want to update for me is there any other older drivers i can download and how do i search these older drivers so that i can get some that will work with my video card my card is a nvida geforce 6800 xt
 
nevermind i fixed it

the thing that it was was that i still had nvidia driver up there that i needed to completely remove
