Help on buying/building a Desktop PC

Hello! I'm unsure whether I want to build or buy a PC. My price limit is varying around 550$+/- before shipping and tax... etc, preferably nothing over 600$

I have been shopping around www.newegg.ca(I`m Canadian) although I really can`t tell which deal would be the best for me, and whether I want to pick a build your own combo, a PC itself, or just pick out individual parts. I have never really made a computer by myself before, but I can`t see it being too difficult seeing how there is many help guides on the net and the only long process is really just installing the OS.

I`d preferably want a computer able to run WoW at full specs and Guild Wars 2 smoothly when it comes out, if anyone can help me out with picking some parts out or something it`d be greatly appreciated because I am truly lost trying to figure out what to buy. Thanks in advance! :)

do you need Windows in that? Or could you get that latter on? Cause with current HDD prices, it is going to be difficult to build a computer to max those with 600 including windows.
I will build a list though.

Thanks a bunch for the list, although you said it was 140$ over 600 including windows? I'm assuming you mean if I go out and buy the OS since it's not on the list orr? Andd, would I just be better off with turning one of my old hard drives into an external and using another for the internal hard-drive instead of going and buying a new one or would that dampen my performance?

If your old hard drive is SATA, then you can reuse it in the system. Hopefully HDD prices will come down soon.
And i mean 140 ove with windows. I take 100 off for windows immediately, and the build still came to 640. so adding the 100 for windows its 740.
