Help on DX10

Can someone pls help me
if i buy a atix1950 will it be able to play the directx10 games or will i be able to install directx10 on my pc pls help me do i just have to buy the nvidia 8 series. i would prefer not but will i be able to play games like crysis on ati x1950xtx graphic card
 
That card isn't a DX10 card, You don't need a DX10 card to play games like Crysis either. They are backward compatable, I don't think you'll notice a difference between DX10 and 9 to be honest.
 
if the game only wants dx10 and does not run on dx9 will it be possible in ne way to run that game and as x1900xtx has better results than even 8800gtx at tomshardware comparisoon chart i bought that so will i ha ve to change my graphic card pls tell me coz i dont want to change will it b possible to play dx10 games on dx 9 or crysis on my graphic card
 
Right now the only video cards that can take advantage and play DX10 games are the 8800 series. Most likely you can use an X1K series card, but you wont get the advantages of DX10.

If the game can only run with a DX10 card (which is doubtful), then no, it wouldnt work.

And the 8800 series are much better then your x1900XTX, so im not sure where you got that info from.
 
An x1900XTX is not better then any of the 8800 series, you were probably looking at the x1900XTX CF vs 8800.

Remember that 8800GTS can outperform X1950xtx by far in shader-intensive games. And since most of the future games are going to be shader-intensive then this mean that 8800GTS is more future proof. And 8800GTS is DX10 card
