I am trying to figure out what host my amino set top box (for IPTV) is connecting to. (I know I can use a IR keyboard but don't want to spend any money on this.) What I am thinking of doing is sharing internet through a computer's networking port connected to the stb and monitoring what the stb is connecting to but i don't know how to do this. I thought maybe if i set the computer to use a proxy (which i am running) and then share it's connection to the stb, i would be able to check the proxy server's logs to find the host, but i am not for sure on how to make the shared internet connection to use the proxy. Please give some advice!
