I have a Dell Dimension E520 with Windows XP 32 bit with the Intel{R}Core 2 cpu [email protected] is has 2MB L2 Cache and want a new processor. Would any of these work for my computer? Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 Wolfdale 3.06GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor // Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor // Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Thanks.

Those processors would work with you're motherboard :) but if you are going to go with a high end processor such as the E8500 which is around 150 quid you'd be better off going for a Q6600 quad core 2.4GHz which is the same price and overclocks to 3.4GHz+ and its a quad core. But yeah all those processors will work :D

You wont be able to do an overclocking on the Dell mobo so just get a 3.0 dual or quad lga775 socket and your good. 1066fsb also

Ok so one one should i get thats better for video gaming Intel Core2 Duo E7500 Wolfdale 2.93GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Or Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 Wolfdale 3.06GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor there only about $20 diffrence the 2.93 comes with Heatsink and Fan included and the 3.06 does not or at least does not say if it does or not.
