Help on Which Graphics Card..

you can get X850XT's for AGP if im not mistaken :) and before the 7800GS, its the best AGP card around ( since the 6800GT's and ULTRA's are very rare finds nowday's :o )
 
Im not sure about the power requirement of the 7600GS.. but the 6800GS and the x800/x850 etc are definately out of the question with that Powersupply :)

230 watts would hardly hold my processor, much less my graphics card :) Most cards have a minimum requirement of a 300w.

Damn, the 7600GS needs 350W, thanks for letting me know about that, thats another thing I need to buy for my 2nd upgrade..

The best AGP right now is X1950 pro

So, the 7800GS is now the second best AGP

X1950pro > 7800GS > 7600GT = X850xt > 6800GS > 7600GS

The only bad thing about the X850xt is that it doesn't play splinter cell double agent because this new splinter cell game needs SM3.0 card to run

ah but the x1950pro isn't quite released yet (end of this month i believe) and its gonna cost about £200 too. Bit of a bugger really as i was after getting it but its twice the price of the X850 which i picked up instead

It's been out for nearly a month now :P In the US it is down to $200..
