I'd like some help on a particular OS problem, so I'll try to explain as clearly as possible...
I have 2 partitions on my hard drive (C, D). On each one, I had installed different versions of Windows XP Pro (SP1 & SP2), and each time I booted up, the computer asked me which OS I wanted to load, as it should be.
Now, realizing that all the SP2 horror stories were unfounded, I decided to format my entire D partition (containing XP SP1), leaving it completely empty. Here comes the problem: When I boot up, the computer still asks me which OS I want to load, even if there is now only one installed on the computer. How can I fix this so that when I turn the computer on it loads Windows directly from C.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
