Hey. I tried updating from version 1502 to version 3602 or whatever and it supposedly was successful, but isn't able to boot anymore because it says "read failed" and then i have to choose a different bios file. I tried loading up the 1502 bios again and it says that the bios is outdated. Any advice would be helpful. I'm ready to snap this mobo in two.

Is there a md5 sum you can verify against? I'd try re-downloading the image and using that to flash.

I got the latest one. It might actually be 3206 or something, but it's for sure the latest one, so it doesn't let me use any older ones.

If you don't know exactly what BIOS you flashed to, or what the latest BIOS specific to your board is, you have no business trying to flash it..

While you're trying to prove a point, it's false. I know that I looked at the list for my mobo and took the most recent one. There, now I looked again and confirm it's the 3602 after all.

I'm not trying to prove or disprove anything, just saying that if your not 100% what you are doing with BIOS, I wouldn't be just winging it and hoping for the best.

I wasn't saying you were wrong about the BIOS version, either.. I was saying you should try rolling back to a different version other than the one that didnt work, and the one it wouldn't roll back to.

Even though it says "outdated" for the 1502? K, it's worth a shot I guess.

Thats why I recommended 3207, you've already said 1502 wont roll back so doing it again will probably give you same result. Your board has a few BIOS revisions other than the 2 you've tried!
