help please internet not working

Hi, basically my internet is not working on my laptop. I have no problem finding a network and connecting to a network but when I open my browser it always redirects me to the “this page cannot be displayed” page.

I recently got a wireless router and tried to set it up, but I couldn’t get on the site 102.168.1.1 (a common problem). I passed it onto a friend who got it working on his computer. But since then I have never been able to access the internet.

Can you help me? Something to do with the Command Prompt (sorry I’m useless with computers)

Try unpluging your router/modem then plugging it back up. Or bypass the router and hook the laptop directly to the modem to make sure internet is even working.
